MSI MCCARRAN RESERVE NORTHCUTT STAIR TREAD

This stair tread pairs a precision-textured anti-slip surface with linear Northcutt patterning to reduce traction loss on high-traffic steps while maintaining visual continuity with surrounding flooring.

Built for renovation updates and new construction layouts, the MSI McCarran Reserve series replaces standard flat tiles with a raised-grip top layer that holds footing on damp or dusty surfaces. The shaped edge profile covers stair nosings securely, preventing loose tripping edges and keeping soil out of joint gaps. When swapping out deteriorated steps or framing a fresh run, the component integrates with standard residential stair installation methods.

The Northcutt design tracks straight across horizontal landings and vertical risers, eliminating misaligned stress points that fracture under repeated impact. Formulated resistance to surface scuffing and moisture penetration means the transition area retains clarity despite daily exposure to footwear, tracked debris, and spillage. Upgrading from basic cut-to-size tiles typically reduces long-term abrasion wear and simplifies routine cleaning.

Coordinates directly with additional slabs from the McCarran Reserve collection, allowing you to plate entire stair assemblies with a single material batch. Specify the complete tread system to eliminate sourcing delays and maintain a consistent, safety-forward foundation throughout your home.
